Bulwell Vision are involved in a range of projects to improve the quality of the housing and environment in the area.

Sue Fletcher, the Capacity Building Worker, attends the Tenants and Residents Chairs meetings. This involves supporting the Chairs to raise issues about their Neighbourhoods. This includes issues with repairs, community safety, street cleaning and high way maintenance. A range of partners attend the meetings to resolve the issues raised, for example the police, youth services and community development workers.

Debbie Webster, the Community Involvement Worker, is continuing to develop the BMX track site. The site is currently being redeveloped and landscaped. We are also looking to develop a skate park on the area in the long term. The track has had a tremendous impact in the area.

Bulwell Vision has also supported local residents to make improvements to a play park in the area, Ashton Park at Snapewood. A basket ball court has been developed, a youth shelter installed and a play park erected at the front of the site.

Bulwell Vision are supporting the friends of Bulwell bogs in a bid for an adventure park and water park. We are also working with the Historical society to move the Dovecote from its current site to the Bulwell Bogs areas. We are working with local resident to plant a wood on Hoewood Road.
